STOL-Grasshoppers DS1 fail to take the win in Landsmeer

After the surprising win against Binnenland last Tuesday, STOL-Grasshoppers were unable to follow though last night. In Landsmeer, Probuild Lions won by 57-40.

The team from Katwijk missed Eline Kraayenoord (due to injury) and Corinne Munuputty who fell out early in the match. They had no answer for the zone defense that Probuild Lions played the entire match. While Probuild made good use of their length, expecially via Marloes Nieuwveen, STOL-Grasshoppers had trouble scoring from outside. The score at halftime was 34-20.

In the second half, coach Bo Melis also missed the fanaticism he witnessed in the match against Binnenland. The Lions continued their scoring and took the win.

Next Thursday, Oct. 27, DS1 play a cup match aginst DAS in Delft at 20:00.
